Christina Lake & Beaches
Discover the warmest tree-lined lake in Canada, with sandy beaches, clear water, and endless places to relax, swim, and explore.
Christina Lake & Beach
Christina Lake is legendary for its warm, clean water and sandy beaches, making it a firm favourite with swimmers, boaters, jet-skiers and those wanting to relax whilst gazing over the clear calm blue waters. The provincial park has beautiful beaches, picnic areas and shady grove trees for those who like to be outside, but shaded.
The shallow waters stretch out a good distance offering ideal wading for younger children; and for those more adventurous, there are plenty of areas for more energetic swimming.
Long summer days and excellent temperatures ensure warm lake waters and a wonderful time for all.
Christina Creek
Christina Creek is the perfect beach to enjoy swimming and summer activities. Located along Christina Creek Trail, it offers shady areas — a great escape on hot summer days — with beautiful scenic views immersed among the tall ponderosa pines.
The mountains open up to the valley, creating a wonderful area to hike, stroll along the beach, swim or kayak, all while being immersed in the stunning natural surroundings.
Kingsley Beach
Kingsley Beach is a historical area, at the end of Kingsley Road, just off of Highway #3, once housing the original Christina Lake Motel and Restaurant and Dance Pavilion — a popular summer retreat spot in the 1900’s which brought in several visitors from all over the Boundary and the Kootenays to enjoy live music, dancing and dining.
This beautiful beach and area continues to bring generations of families to relive their summertime memories and create new ones with their loved ones.
Gladstone Provincial Park (Texas Point)
Texas Point, also known as Gladstone Provincial Park and Campground, features a beautiful public access beach. The beach is more secluded and often not very busy, giving visitors the feeling of having their own private slice of shoreline.
The south side of the intimate beach also includes a dog-friendly area — perfect for a walk with your furry friend.
