A Well Kept Secret

A well-kept secret is the great Bass fishing at Christina Lake. Start as early as May and catch both large and small mouth Bass. The season closes in September, so catch a fish and a bargain and book early.

Not just bass, Christina Lake has fishing for everyone and for all seasons. Why stop having fun in winter? Come and stay to ice fish, or at other times of the year, for fly fishing, casting, or trolling. Christina Lake and the surrounding area is the place for you! For the best large Rainbow Trout, come in March and April. Test or improve your skills to catch 5-15 pound fish, either by trolling a plug or bucktail fly.

May and June are the best months for catching Kokanee, which range up to 1½ pounds and bite on spinners, flies, and live bait (maggots and worms).

Other species include Mountain, Prickly Sculpin, Slimy Sculpin, Whitefish, Northern Pikeminnow and Carp.
